This house is on the corner of 29th Street and 30th Road in Astoria. It's been for sale, bought, lost in the financial meltdown, on sale again. This is a house that should be restored, but that's not going to happen. It's very near Mt. Sinai of Queens hospital, so it will probably end up as a medical building and maybe some housing.

I gather that a doctor and his family used to live in this house. It would be convenient for a doctor if his practice was in the hospital around the corner. The hospital is much newer than this building, though.

Satellite dishes and other equipment are set up on the upper balcony of the lodge to beam the today show to viewers. The banquet room on the left is filled with equipment.
